Tilt panel drafting

Precise technical shop drawings detailing every component of your Tilt Panel project for accurate construction and installation. The project architectural and structural drawings are interpreted by our drafting team, then combined and detailed to create panel fabrication drawings ready for our site team to build. All TYECO drawings are submitted back to the builder and their consultants for review and approval before being issued for construction.

Brace & Lift Design

Engineering designs ensuring safe and efficient lifting and bracing of tilt panels during construction. Our RPEQ engineer will design the lifting plans, bracing design and deadman design specific to each project. A Form 15 is provided which certifies the design is in accordance with Australian standards and the Qld Tilt-Up and National Construction Codes. We can also provide site specific tilt panel solutions in real time to any site issues or restrictions that may arise during building or lifting of panels, all with engineer certification and approval.

On-site Tilt panel Construction

On-site Tilt Panel Construction

Tilt panels are formed, reinforced and then poured on site. This is a fast, time efficient process with approximately 200m2 of tilt panels being poured every day. Once all panels are poured, they are lifted in to place with a crane. All reinforcement products comply with Australian Standards and Greenstar requirements. Concrete is ordered and supplied by TYECO and concrete testing is provided as per Australian Standards to ensure quality and suitability for lifting. If requested environmentally greener concrete products can be supplied. Lifting and bracing inserts are cast in to panels and our suppliers meet Australian standards for these items.

Casting Beds

Site specific casting beds for on-site fabrication of tilt panels, tailored to project specifications and site size and access restrictions. Casting beds can be as many or as few as needed and can be reused for a staged build if requested. All these requirements can be discussed in the project planning stage.

Quality Assurance

Quality Assurance

TYECO has developed and implements a tilt panel ITP web app which ensures panels are checked and built accurately to plans. Photos are stored on the app and then sent with the checklist to the builder and their engineer at the completion of each panel being built. All ITPS are then compiled at the end of the project in an ITP document which summaries and keeps a record of all ITPs for the project. Daily site inspections are coordinated with the builder and engineer to ensure compliance with structural engineering plans before final approval is received to pour each panel.

Crane Lift & Place

Expert crane operators and experienced riggers for lifting and positioning tilt panels with precision, ensuring secure placement.  A lift study is completed for each site to cater for any site access restrictions, panel sizes and to determine if the crane size and site-specific plans for lift day.

Heavy Duty Anchor Systems

Heavy Duty Anchor Systems

Heavy-duty anchor systems (deadman) for securing panels in place during construction, ensuring stability. Designed by our engineer and excavated on site by our machines.

Prop Hire for Tilt Panels

Reliable prop hire services providing essential support for tilt panels during the construction process until structural steel is erected. All props have safety test certificates and are installed following Australian Standards and the Code of Practice. Once structural steel is installed and structural engineer certification is issued, the TYECO crew will return to de-prop.

The Finishing Touches - Patching, Joint Seal, Grouting

The Finishing Touches – Patching, Joint Seal, Grouting

All vertical panel joins are sealed with a fire rated sealant which meet Australian Standards and the product has fire rating certification. The underside of panels are grouted as per structural engineering plans. Panels are finished by patching any holes from props and any imperfections created during the casting and lifting process. Patching is completed to a Class 2 finish as per Australian Standards. Please let us know if you have any other finishing requirements for your project and we can tailor our scope to meet your needs.
